The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Il Marroneto has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Sparkling ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Initially a slightly cloudy note, some black truffle, orange zest and cherry. Hard and gripping tannin, full-bodied, develops with good length, currently still quite rough.
