The red wine Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso FCO DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Il Roncal has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
Noble garnet red. Shows great aromatic notes on the nose of ripe cranberry, forest floor, black truffle, blueberry, fine pipe tobacco towards the end. On the palate tight-knit salty tannin and cool fruit, stretches finely in the mouth, has good ripeness, taut and energetic, very persistent on the finish.
