Tasting Notes
Nuanced savoury aromas are complemented by cassis and graphite with mocha and caramel notes on the nose. Still very young and austere, the palate is dense and chewy with very good (but still completely closed) fruit. Juicy and nervy this tightly constructed wine has excellent length and a wild berry finish.
More about the tastingRich ruby-purple colour. Appealing, multi-layered nose, earthy, with notes of cubeb pepper and cardamom, followed by plenty of blackberry and dark blackcurrant. Taut and dense on the palate, salty, builds for a long time, savoury and gripping, with a tobacco finish.
