The red wine SMV Shiraz Mourvédre Viognier, vintage 2013 from the winery Jacaranda Wine Estate has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Mourvèdre, Viognier from the region Wellington in South Africa.
Intense and ethereal after dark wild berries and rosemary. Licorice, black pepper and red berries. Surprisingly clear and cool on the palate, it does not score with opulence and sweetness, but with gripping juice and spicy tannins. Long, palate-watering finish. A real surprise for 15% alcohol. Great!
