The red wine »Alte Reben« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2019 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Slate mineral dominated fragrance, sweet cherry and redcurrant, caramel, thyme. Very finely dissolved extract on the palate, immensely juicy, pronounced fruit, pure delicacy, persistent and lovely harmonious interplay between fruit and mineral notes, "wild" savoury notes and spice on the finish.
