Elderberry, cranberry jam, soy sauce, and restrained woody notes on the nose. The palate is more buttery but fine-grained, with mild tannin, lots of juiciness, and a ripe acidity - showing both finesse and gentle texture, all the while with very good levels of extracted fruit and depth.
