The red wine Spätburgunder Lange Goldkapsel trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2019 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Darjeeling and sweet cherry, pervaded by white pepper. A hint of malt. Creamy onset, mild tannic impression, ripe acidity, somewhat leaning towards breadth, "warm" palate fruit, plump and yet delicate in its sustained style. Very good length, lovely fruity tones.
