The red wine Fleurie "Les Moriers", vintage 2013 from the winery Jules Desjourneys has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
A stony spiciness lies over rich blackberry and elderberry fruit, notes of tar and truffle resonate. In the mouth, the wine has a very linear structure, showing a large amount of ripe, almost fleshy tannin, although the background also has its supple aspects. An initially accessible wine, with good mineral definition and great ageing potential.
