The red wine Maturum Lagrein Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery K. Martini & Sohn has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Very dense purple in colour with brightening rim. A light fumé on the nose, along with dark fruit, black pepper and tobacco. Soft and mouth-filling on the palate, there's some very well integrated tannin. Feels very juicy through to the lingering finish.
