The white wine »Alte Reben« Selzen Osterberg Silvaner trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Kapellenhof has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The old vines are characterised by incredibly peppery notes on the nose. In addition, subtle floral Silvaner flavours. A wine with structure and depth on the palate. The acidity lends freshness and tension to the richness, while the finish shows savouriness and tactile minerality.
