Rich, powerful purple in colour with brightening edges. A spicy nose has plenty of ripe dark fruit alongside hints of tobacco and dark chocolate. Full-bodied on the palate thanks to dense tannins and ripe dark berry fruit. Feels slightly drying and bittersweet on the finish, but nonetheless certain ageing potential.
