The red wine A plus Rdeče, vintage 2017 from the winery Klet Brda has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Goriška Brda in Slovenia.
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the ochre rim. On the nose, nuanced aromas of cherry and fresh plum, a touch of mint and dried herbs, underlaid with candied orange zest. The elegant, balanced palate is juicy with wild berry fruit, some vanilla notes, and ripe tannins. A persistent, versatile food wine.
