Strong carmine, deep colour core, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Delicate herbal savouriness, dark nougat, fine balsamic nuances, preserved cherries, tobacco notes. Substantial, ripe plums, taut tannins, tannin-influenced finish, subtle fruit, mineral nuances, calls for BBQ so that the roasted aromas absorb the bitter substances, leafy-rustic finish that would do credit to a Tannat, overall somewhat antiquated style.
