The white wine Helios Weissburgunder Weinberg Dolomiten IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Kränzelhof has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Bianco from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear pale straw yellow colour with green nuances. Very vivid and fresh on the nose, smells of tree-ripened apples, some lime, as well as mirabelle and apricot, mineral in the background. Round and balanced on the palate, opens with nice ripe notes, nuances of fresh banana, nutty on the finish. Beautifully matured, once again shows the advantage of a screw cap.
