A streak of lemon jumps for the glass, followed by hints of baked apple. Hints of honey then creep in. The palate then introduces a slight earthiness and comes across as much smoother than the lemony nose suggests. over time, however, the wine opens up and shows concentration, alcoholic warmth and lemon zest freshness. The finish is rich, fresh, nutty, smooth and dry.
