The white wine Caprizi Riserva Collio DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery La Rajade has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Malvasia, Malvasia, Friulano, Friulano, Chardonnay, Chardonnay from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich pale golden yellow with light green nuances. Opens on the nose with notes of mango, dark currants, some peach. Round and smooth in texture, lots of good fruit expression, flows gently, in the finish a little tension, in the aftertaste some toasted hazelnuts.
