The red wine Finca Martelo Reserva, vintage 2014 from the winery La Rioja Alta has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Garnacha, Viura from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Deep ruby colour, purple reflections. Fine wood spice, ripe cherries, some liquorice, attractive bouquet. On the palate this is juicy and elegant and comes with supporting, silky tannins. Some caramel on the finish, good length and freshness as well as ageing potential.
