The sparkling wine Franciacorta Rosé DOCG Brut from the winery La Torre Franciacorta has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sauter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Gerhild Burkard with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Nero, Chardonnay from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Intense, flint orange pink colour with persistent mousse. On the nose, yeast pastries, wet stone, with subtle hints of dried fruit and a slight petrol note on the finish. Lively on the palate, with well-integrated mousse, very dry, incisive, straightforward, medium length, unfortunately somewhat bitter on the finish.
