The spumante Lagertal Extra Brut Trento DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Lagertal has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
This has a brilliant straw yellow colour, with a persistent mousse. On the nose there are aromas of salted lemon, parmesan rind, and a hint of mushroom. On the palate it is juicy, with a yellow fruit flavour, unfolding nicely, and it has some minerality, and is compact, of medium weight, with some finesse.
