The red wine Pergole Vece Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Le Salette has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby. Extremely concentrated on the palate, much ripe, rich fruit, combined with fine wood flavours, in the background a lot of vanilla. Compact on the palate, shows also there plump fruit, opens with fine-meshed tannin, a lot of sweet texture.
