The red wine 24 Mesi Rosso Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Le Volpi has been rated in 2022 by Kiem Othmar, Staffler Simon with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, shimmering ruby, a hint of purple. A bit restrained on the nose: dark cassis fruit, some dried porcini mushrooms and earthy components in the background. Round on the attack, opens with fine-meshed tannin, but shows accentuated caramel notes on the back end, a bit drying on the finish.
