The red wine Poggio Severo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Lisini has been rated in 2026 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Montalcino in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens on the nose with notes of blackberries and mulberries, plus ripe plums, exciting. Salty on the palate, shows plenty of grippy, very well-integrated tannins, still needs some time, but will be a great pleasure in 4-5 years.
