The red wine Reserva, vintage 2013 from the winery Luis Saenz has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Rioja Alta in Spain.
Some leather, apple, smoky notes, dark berry aromas. Very supple on the palate, soft but not unfresh or unstructured tannins, juicy palate fruit, well-integrated, fine acidity, concentrated fruit on the finish. Clearly chalky-mineral tones. An already gluggable Reserva, but with further certain ageing potential.
