Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and ochre highlights. A subtle rim brightening suggests some maturity. The nose is rather restrained, with red cherry fruit and orange zest underlaid by tobacco nuances and a touch of savouriness. There's good complexity to the palate which is red berry-driven but overall feels still quite shy. Firm tannins and fresh acidity, with a mineral backbone, make up the structure. A delicate sweet fruit characvter to the finish, which has not yet developed quite the length that will surely come.
