The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Madonna Nera has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, radiant ruby red. On the nose fine fruit, wild berries, noble wood, milk chocolate, in the background some sealing wax. On the palate dark fruit and slightly earthy undertones, shows gripping tannin, plus nice juiciness, still young at the moment, will assemble well.
