The red wine Terrassenlage Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Maibachfarm has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Wild cherries, chocolate, some wood, thyme and wormwood, new oak. On the palate, a peppery minerality, grainy tannins in medium-high quantity, a lot of juice and also some suppleness in the background, mineral, edging its way towards an elegant maturity. Very mineral on the finish.
