Strong, youthful red; strong bouquet, dried fruit, plums, also blackberries, rhubarb, slightly animal, needs some air; strong attack on the palate, full-bodied, juicy acidity, matching tannins, fresh berry aromas; good length. Powerful wine with a southern touch.
