A fine hint of dark chocolate clings to the dark cherry fruit on the nose. The palate holds that same, dark dollop of berry and cherry, aromatic and lush. Fine tannins and bright freshness hold against that and create a balanced wine with lots of mileage. The finish has a lovely hint of liquorice.
