The red wine Südtirol Lagrein Riserva DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Malojer Urban - Gummerhof has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a slight violet shimmer. Finely drawn nose, aromas of blackberry and elderberry, also some ginger and pepper. Clear and straightforward on the attack and on the palate, fine tannins with a sweet core, juicy, notes of blackberry and beetroot, persistent.
