The red wine Barbaresco Serragrilli DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Marchesi di Barolo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Deep, rich ruby, hints of garnet on the rim. Somewhat muted aromas of black olives, ripe cherries and vanilla. A palate with dark fruit and balsamic, becomes loosely knit as it evolves with noticeable vanilla from wood ageing on the finish.
