Dense and bright ruby-purple; lots of clear and precise fruit, blueberry, blackberry, some tobacco, intense; also shows rich fruit on the palate, juicy, spreads out nicely, but then can no longer bring the expected pressure in the back, in the finish still clearly characterized by the wood.
