The red wine Castello Ginori Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Marchesi Ginori Lisci has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, bright ruby red. Initially fine savoury tones on the nose, then raspberries and rosehips, a hint of fruit tea, some pepper. Full-bodied on the palate with rich currant fruit, powerful and clear, juicy, with a delicate woody savouriness and slight dryness on the finish.
