The red wine Pretale Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Marzocco di Poppiano has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby red. Shows hints of ripe blackberry, dried fig, some resin on the nose, then rosemary and leather. Compact dark fruit on the palate, lots of depth and grip, unfortunately breaks down somewhat in the middle section and lingers.
