Dense ruby red with hints of cherry red. Plum confit, rum steeped fruit and sweet tobacco on the nose, with a hint of dill on the finish. Full-bodied on the palate with rich fruit and fine savouriness, some vanilla and cocoa, shows grippy tannins and a slight toughness, with a fine bitter note at the back and subtly warming.
