The red wine Vigna Schiena d'Asino Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Mastrojanni has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby garnet. A finely drawn nose shows notes of rose petals and some raspberries, with a fine spice in the background. It builds richly on the palate with a core of dark berry fruit and grippy, dense tannins. Still very young.
