The red wine Zamna Cabernet Sauvignon, vintage 2020 from the winery Matalj Vinarija has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Negotinski Krajina - Bukovo in Serbia.
Dark ruby in colour with an opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, tobacco spiciness, underlaid with notes of ripe cassis and candied orange zest. The juicy palate has ripe, extremely silky tannins, with notes of fine dark berry fruit, persistent with good freshness and fine minerality, this is still very youthful, with incredible length, a kind of Château Margaux from Negotin.
