The white wine »Quarzit« Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Mehrlein has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Spicy, herbal nose showing apple and stone fruit, also warm stone. With clear, pure fruit on the palate and lots of juice and texture, good balance of spice, sweetness and freshness, slenderly built. Also has tang, and is very moreish.
