The red wine Meneghetti red, vintage 2019 from the winery Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Istra - Istria in Croatia.
Deep crimson with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. On the nose, delicate nuances of blackberry and mint, a hint of liquorice, and cassis, underpinned by fine oak notes. The juicy palate is highly elegant, with ripe tannins, a fresh structure, finely balanced fruit, and a hint of nougat on the long saline finish, already approachable, has ageing potential.
