The white wine Chenin Blanc Montane, vintage 2021 from the winery Metzer & Holfeld Family Wine's has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points.
Pleasantly restrained nose with vivid cool citrus fruit, notes of Reine Claude plum and green apple. The whole is underpinned by a cool herbal spiciness and smoky nuances. Straightforward acidity on the palate, textural fullness without appearing fat, crisp citrus fruit and mineral grace on the long finish.
