The red wine Piastraia DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Michele Satta has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah from the region Bolgheri in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby. A charming, appealing nose of cassis and ripe wild raspberry aromas. It displays good tension on the palate with lots of berry fruit and saltiness. It has pithy sturdy tannins and a long finish.
