The red wine Grande Cuvée Mogilovo Single Vineyard Thracien Valley PGI, vintage 2015 from the winery Midalidare Estate has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot from the region Thracian lowlands in Bulgaria.
Bright, strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, broad rim brightening. Ripe plum fruit, subtle hints of dried fruit, fine herbal spice, vanilla and nougat undertones. Full-bodied, fine fruit sweetness, well-integrated wood spice, ripe style, underpinned with a fine acid structure, elegant and well persistent, has further ageing potential.
