The red wine Tretarante Primitivo di Manduria, vintage 2010 from the winery Mille Una has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser und Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Primitivo di Manduria in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby colour with a slight purple tinge. Dense and complex on the nose, with aromas of dried plum and preserved blackberry, but also fine savoury notes, subtle hints of saffron and dost. Powerful on the palate, lots of lush, rich berry fruit, opens up with a concise, dense tannin, salty, powerful, but appears fresh and vivid despite the considerable 18(!) per cent alcohol, earthy.
