The red wine DOC Moncucchetto Riserva Lugano, vintage 2015 from the winery Moncucchetto has been rated in 2017 by Martin Kilchmann with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
Very deep red with an intense bouquet of black fruit and vanilla - very stylish. On the palate there's a powerful attack with a clear wood imprint. Rich, substantial tannins build to a long finish. A modern 'power' Merlot that needs ageing.
