Brilliant, rich ruby with a light violet hue. Very open and fragrant nose of black and red currants, lots of blackberries, some mint and fennel, followed by cloves. Beautiful ripe berry fruit on the palate, then opens up with gripping, pithy tannins, builds for a long time, with a full-bodied finish.
