The red wine Barolo DOCG Rive, vintage 2021 from the winery Negretti has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region La Morra in Italy.
Bright, almost transparent ruby red in colour. On the nose, intense aromas of fully ripe plum and sweet cherry, along with thyme, bay leaf and a pinch of pepper. The palate reveals lots of sweet, spicy fruit, framed by tightly woven tannins and supporting acidity, remaining juicy all the way through to the finish.
