The sparkling wine Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico DOCG Brut, vintage 2015 from the winery Oltrenero has been rated in 2025 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Nero from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Elegant, bright straw yellow colour. The nose initially has aromas of cold butter, then yellow apple, iodine and sea salt, with fine nutty flavours. Beautiful ripe fruit on the palate, well-integrated mousse, with fine vanilla notes and a slightly settled finish.
