Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Dark forest berry confit with smoky and savoury undertones, nuances of blackberry and wood, floral notes, mineral touch, some cardamom, opens up with air. Complex, finely spiced, red fruit, firm, integrated tannins, pleasantly tart on the finish, a hint of salt and sloes, has good length, will benefit from further bottle ageing.
