Rich, flint garnet red. Opens with appealing, sweet fruit notes, slightly raisin, very ripe plum, goji berry, plus some sealing wax and liquorice. Firm tannins, extremely grippy, subtle notes of leather, ripe fruit, unfortunately dries somewhat on the finish.
