The red wine Contrada R Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Passopisciaro has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright intense ruby red colour. Deep nose, starts with cold smoke and black tea, delicate fruit notes, raspberries and rose hips, with aeration reveals toasted notes, reminiscent of coffee and toasted pine nuts. On the palate highly elegant and delicate, lots of juice, ripe, vivid tannins, harmonious acidity, long, salty and juicy finish.
