The red wine Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Perticaia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points.
It has a rich dark and bright ruby red colour. There is a fragrant bouquet of juicy blackberry and cherry, a hint of light malt, paired with elegant earthy nuances. On the palate it is radiant, with vivid fresh fruit at the core, unfolding beautifully over the tongue, and it has great persistence all the way to the finish.
